Matheny School and Hospital has been opening new worlds for children and adults with developmental disabilities such as Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, Muscular Dystrophy, and Lesch-Nyhan Syndrome. For almost 60 years, Matheny has been at the forefront of rehabilitative therapies to help link their students to new worlds of life experiences and information. This has been accomplished through individually designed technologies such as joysticks, sonic pointers, and voice recognition systems, in addition to other impressive devices.

Matheny serves people on a residential and outpatient basis offering a full range of programs. The disabled community from all over the country comes to benefit from this one of a kind place.
