The artists featured in this gallery represent a cross-section of ages, life experiences and backgrounds, as well as different types of physical impairments.
Yet their artwork demonstrates the commonality of the human experience in spite of all differences.
The work represent a wide variety of styles and aesthetics. Some may appear
to be a part of artistic schools such as Primitive Expressionism, Constructivism, Cubism, Futurism, or Abstract Expressionism to name a few. It is not surprising that you may see elements reminiscent of Pollock, Picasso, Mondrian, or even Monet.
What is surprising is that our artists have no formal knowledge of artistic philosophies, traditions, or techniques. Their work is an entirely self-contained expression, yet its relationship to established modes of art reveals a common thread intrinsic in all human creative instinct.
