Sanders: Director
 Lyn
Sanders is a photographer, owned a professional photo lab,
and has won multiple photographic awards. She has had work
published in magazines and newspapers including The New York
Times. Her photographic career led her, in 1993 to the Arts
Access program. In 1995, she became the director, leading
the program to new heights. Her enormous dedication to the
betterment of the students’ lives through the arts has
been the landmark of her leadership. Her type of management
is one of open doors and inclusion, gathering information
and suggestions from staff members and students, she has managed
to keep the program fresh, vital and a source of great enjoyment
for anyone who comes in contact with it. Her hope is that
one-day Matheny’s Arts Access Program will be recognized
as the premiere fine arts program for all people with disabilities.
